Tribute to a CA

Posted by Unknown

It is a choice for many
At least, it seemed so at first
And regrets they had not any
Till the bubble burst

The entry is painless
In the fountain of youth
The exit however, is ruthless
Much like the extraction of a tooth

They knew not of their missions
When they accepted the job
Till their bosses put forth their conditions
That hit them with a throb

Numerous sacrifices were made
As pressure and deadlines were rife
Goodbye, they bade
To their personal and social life

Doubts slowly crept in
On whether the path was right
Consolations they were given:
“At the end of the tunnel there is light”

Soon, the exams they did clear
Surprising everyone at large
Their parents shed a tear
And to land a job they did urge

The journey’s meaning they found
From the respect shown by the society
Their happiness did compound
Whilst they left behind their anxiety

For they are Finance’s guru
Certifying what’s true and fair
Confidence of investors they brew
By depicting the accurate state of affair

Many a role do they play
From a corporate reporter to a consultant
And that is the vivid essay

Of a Chartered Accountant
